Getting car inspect will all new mods
Was wondering if anyone has had any problems getting there car inspected with new mods like intake, headers, exhaust and the hondata reflash. Looking to do all this but dont want to have to mess with the state to get it inspected. In NH you have to hook car up to a computer and it checks the ECU for things. Wasnt sure if by doing these mods if it going to throw the ecu off to much that is doesnt pass.
i'm from NH also i know what you meant....emission with obd2
this one of the reasons that i want keep my car stock as possible...just suspension and some rim and call it a day..

Im sure Ill be able to do Intake and exhaust. But the headers.....not to sure if I can do the headers. DAMM obd2 emissions.
If its anything here in WA, they wont even open your hood and inspect anything. They'll just use a generic obdII scanner to check readiness codes to make sure the monitors have run and passed and no codes are present. So as long as your mods dont cause any fault codes you should be fine.
exhaust does not matter for inspection.
i doubt inspection over in NH is half as tough as Cali. you should be alright if you have a CARB exempt intake, if your header is CARB exempt, your 02 sensors are intact, no check engine light.

and if you have a race header, make sure you have a defouler so that you get no cel from that

not sure if NH is the same as cali, but if you DO have a race header then you probably wont pass emissions due to the fact that you DO NOT have a cat.

They check the cats now as well. "Drive clean across Texas".
