i'm sorry, but isn't 185 kinda low for a B18C1??? my 94 which has 192k miles on it and bad rings on cylinder #4 read 210 across the board except for cylinder 4 which read like 130.

not exactly... we did a compression test on a 12.5:1 all motor gsr hatch and we got 210 per cylinder. how are you doing your compression tests? we ALWAYS follow the proper procedure, disconnecting the ecu, gas to the floor. 5-7 cranks per cylinder to get an accurate reading... not only is 185 a good number for over 100k miles but having the numbers all the same is even better than having them scattered, i.e: 185, 190, 180, 195. On top of that we bought the most expensive compression tester we could find. The car was female driven before I got it and it's mostly highway miles. The motor is top notch.... it looks brand new!!! everything!

ok.. well maybe our compression tester is kinda jank then. and i know that consistent #'s across the board are definintely good. and from doing a little research i've seen that different gauges vary widely on readings. but good luck with the sale! it's a clean car and if i could sell mine i'd buy it!
