if you are planning on 700 hp or more, you need more than the spoon rear diff.....you will need to go the nissan rear end approach.....

i am pretty sure that the comptech housing and 04 up rear cannot handle that much either....but i guess it is all in how you launch the car...

also, i do not see you making 700+ hp with a supercharger.....maybe you meant turbo?

the thermal efficiency of a supercharger and the required amount of boost will not work in this equation....

however, i could be wrong....

I may be wrong, but from what I have read the supercharger that comes with a comptech kit is actually the smaller model. the company that makes the blowers for comptech actually has a larger model. with this being said, if that blower is able to fit on an s2000, and you were to run a high boost pulley (or have a shop make a high boost pulley), I think 700hp is achievable with a supercharger.

Youl need a nissan diff though, the s2000 diff wont handle that power.

novi 1000 from comptech also available 1500 and 2000. One guy succesfully did a 2000 on his S, but was only putting out 300 whp. Than the engine went boom.

Not possible to reach 700 with the existing s/c's out there now. No point in doing that anyway, youll spend 3 times as much trying might as well go turbo.

yeah exactly. its easier to get those numbers with a turbo and be safe.

Totally agree with the above statements. You will need a turbo, (and a built block....) plus a whole lot of parts and especially tuning, and more tuning, to reach that goal. Good luck...

You kinda sorta dont need a built block. The s2000 has forged internals from the factory, and theirs some special type of material used in the cylinder walls making it hard to bore out and sleeve the block. Thats why most stroker kits for the s2000 increase the storke and not the bore.
