Cam?
My brother's 97 civic hb sohc vtec d16y8 ran 16.4 at the track w / intake 4-1 header and obd1 conversion p28 not chip. He want to run in the mid 15 or high 14. Will stage 2 crower cam reach his goal? If not what else does he need for all motor?

deffinatly needs money lol but a cam a good tune shave your head a little like 0.040 buy an intake manifold bigger throttle body ect but make sure you get a good tune, when you have the new cams in adjust your vavles to 13 and 13 thats the best setting ive always used on a honda but this is on a dohc so u may need to adjust them a few time keep going up by 2... also may need a VAFC... have fun

Why does he want to run 14 or 15's?
Thats a pretty shitty goal to set for yourself
Not to bash him or anything, but is there a reason why he doesnt want more power?

The idea of a 12 second Civic might not appeal to everyone. Aim small, miss small.

You're right...10 second civics are a little more up my alley.
