Difference between 2 of these H&R springs.. Curious
Guys I am looking into H&R Stage 2 sports lowering springs for my 01 GSR.
there are 2 part #'s to tell these springs apart along with 2 different lowering heights.
1. Integra Typ DC 1994-01 "not Type R" 1.75 1.5 part #50145
2. Integra Type R 1996-01 1.5 1.3 part #29502
Does anyone know why these are different?
Will the Type-R ones fit my GSR stock shocks ok?

29502 will drop your car 2.5" (1.5" + 20 mm)
i would not suggest getting 29502, but do whatever you would like.
WHAT!! are you serious. How can the drop result in 2.5" drop ?
It say's 1.3" - 1.5" what the hell..

You cant add the factory drop because it is the ITR springs that drop it. Take out the springs and put in GSR springs and it will be regular Integra height.
So, If you take out the ITR springs and replace with 1.5" drop springs, Wouldnt your car be 1.5" drop?

Where's Ddub to check this thread? He actually had the very discussed spring on his car a week ago.
The lowered ride height of the ITR specific springs aren't that low at all...they are a SPORT spring and not a RACE spring.
Something interesting though.... when we put identical kg/mm DR Racing springs into one DC2 and one DC2-R.
The DC2 was actually lower than the R.... I wonder if it is because the OE dampers have more compression rebound or the weight of the GS-R sags the car more....probably the latter....

GSRs ride higher than R's. If you put a lowering spring for an R in the drop will be more than advertised, but will go to the same final level. IE will drop an r from 6 inches down to 4 inches off the ground (2 inch drop) but will drop a gsr from 7 inches down to 4 inches (3 inch drop). The lower ride height of the r spring will kill your gsr shocks.
Because a type r is lower then a GSR to begin with!!!!
Type R is lower because of the springs that you are going to replace.
Type R springs lower the car approx. .75"
H&R springs lower the car approx. 1.5"
Remove the .75" springs and replace with the 1.5" springs, Doesnt that equal car lowered 1.5"?
Now why would it be lowered than advertised?
