Default cv joint/ propshaft

I recently lowerd my car by 40mm

Then oneday as I was driveing out my drive way the would not pull anymore.

I thought it had something to do with my clutch.
I was wrong.
turns out the propshaft is not turning the wheel anymore.

I may need a new CV joint.

Could this be a result of lowering the car?

Maybe, but unlikely. I'd bet that it just was on the way out and finally just gave.

Lowering a car does cause stress on the joints. So it may have played a part. You will need a new axle IMO.
