It doesn't matter, but in my opinion just get the one for the Integra so you can have the double bend style, it's sit closer to you.

I've actually heard that getting a shortshifter can mess up your gear syncros, because it causes you to shift so quick, that the tranny can't react quick enough, so the syncros get out of wack.

no its true, to an extent
alot of these people who use short shifters and still shift at "super" speed are speeding the syncros so much its eating them and destroying them
short shifters are pointless IMO.

If what you are saying is true, then it wouldn't be the short shifter that causes it, it would driver error that does the damage.

yeah, what he is saying IS true. there's a certain point where shifting any faster is completely pointless, and actually ruins the transmission. for me, and i'm sure any reasonably capable person you can reach that point with the STOCK shifter on most hondas. so therefore, a SS would be a waste of time, effort, and money.

Then if you agree with him, you are proving my point that it's driver error that causes tranny damage, and not the short shifter. A person doesn't need to bang through the gears to shift fast.

I have the skunk2 short shifter, and I thought it helped a bit, and so did others. Everybody has their own opinion.

they DO NOT RUIN transmissions.....people do,and if you properly work the clutch the trans will not have any problems with you shifting as fast as you want, the synchros can handle it .....do you have any legitamit proof to back up your statement? .....

It's not me that thinks they ruin trannies, it's KAMiN that thinks they do. I to also think its Driver error that cause tranny damage.
