Default 17's or 18's

I plan on getting new rims soon and I am still stuck on whether I should get 17's or 18's. Opinions would be appreciated!

18's = bleh ride and looks great....with drop
17's = oem ride and looks ok.... with drop
16's = CADDY ride (honestly awesome) and looks great (if right rims are bought) ...with drop.

what about people like me who can't do anything (mod wise aka drop) and want some rims? I am looking at some 18's but since I can't get a drop for 23,*** more miles I don't want it to look weird.

go with 18's.. My car's not dropped yet and I think it still looks good. (Should look a lot better next week when the springs are on though.)
Why can't you get a drop for 23,*** miles?

I think that you should check out the thread titled "20 inchers", I think your car would look supa fly if you threw some dubs on it, maybe some 22's...totally pimp.

You will not look weird with 18's. In fact, if you don't mind a little speedo error, go with 18x7 and put some 225/45/18 tires. This will close up the gap a bit between the tire and wheel well without an actual drop.

I have a HFP suspension which gives me about an 1" drop. I run 18x7 with 225/40/18. Since I used a 40 series tire, I did not gain anything on the gap between the tire and wheel well. The gap actually looks worse in this picture than it is. The gap is really only about an inch. I could not go any lower because of my driveway. Even with the mild drop I have, I still scrape on occasion when leaving the garage.

Don't look half bad.

the rims I am looking at are 18x7.5 - Tarmac 3

Yes, emo_hatch already bought them and is rocking them but I think they look hawt; great price, too.

I was thinking about the HFP route. Like I'd get the 17's, the suspension, and brakes (when they come out). I could trade my stockers in for a little money. Sure, this is the more expensive route but I'd get more out of it.

17's or 18's...it all depends on your tire choice and your suspension setup on how it will look on your car.
