Default help!!!! won't go into gear!!!!

iam running a d16y8 motor and a z6 tranny, but when I go to put it in gear it dosent want to. I have to turn it off put it in gear and then turn it back on, and then it starts to move.( with some crazy *** noise). Then when its time to shift I take it out of gear and the only way it goes back in is if I give it gas and pop it in! Please help I would really like to fix this!!!! Thanks

O ok well guess ill buy a new clutch then. I was thinking that th clutch was fine because when I was in gear crusing at 3k I would stomp on the gas and the clutch would not slip. But guess I was wrong lol

Sounds like it also may be low master\slave cylindar pressure, so its not disengaging all the way. Add (brake) fluid and bleed the system, and see if that makes any difference.

do what mike said first check your fluids add fluid keep car off pump the clutch leave the cap off the resovoir this is the easiest way to bleed the clutch lines of air and just keep adding fluid as needed
