its a d16z6, my friends motor blew 10 months ago wetc etc, sat and he sold it to me, i have it now, i rebuilt the motor, new maintence things etc


its not starting, when i crank it it idels for a little and dies, not smooth at all, and other times when i crank it it tries to start then dies

its throwing codes 20 22 and 6, which have nothing to do with it not starting

its fuckingpissing me off , the timing is there, the sprk is there and fuel is there

i DID not replace the year old fuel (87 octane) when trying to start it, but i had it running on and idling on it a month ago

could it be the fule? whats the tank life on 87 octane, if not fuel any other suggetions

 

right now im thinking either

-timing is off
-gas is bad
-not strong enough spark
-dizzy 180* off

 

bump, i guess when its not a question of which rota wheel looks best on a pieace of **** hatchback honda tech doesnt know

lol come on man we try.. wait awhile in an hour or 2 a bunch of people get online and they will be able to help you

but on the car subject... i vote bad gas
