Default The best TURBO for a 94 Accord EX (F22B V TEC)

I am planning on buying a turbo soon and have found them to be around $2000. I found some on ebay that people were selling but did not know if a used turbo would be good or not. I just want to know the best thing for me to do is. Should I spend the money and get the best or what? And what is the best?

my question would be the best/ good for what? road racing? drag racing? daily driving?

you have to be more specific about what you want out of this turbo setup before anyone can even make a reasonable suggestion.

otherwise we are just going to tell you cray stuff...

GT42R and an FMU until I know anything more.... not really, but seriously though.

the most general turbo would be the basic t3/t4 hybrid. if you want a quicker spool the 57 trim will be good, if you dont mind waiting a little longer 60trim will do. either will work fine. if you are looking for 300+hp a t3 60-1 will work great.

if you go turbo you better get a tuning system such as hondata, crome or uberdata, hell you could even look into megasquirt or aem

megasquirst are awesome. You can buy the whole kit for about 200 bucks, put some time in assembling it. And bam you got your self a sweet *** standalone. Alot of people run MS on Boosted neons. The only thing is you gotta be computer savy b/c you need to either make your own maps or you can download them. Id go with a mega squirt if you want a standalone without having to shell out those big bucks for an AEM system.

DSM manifolds have different port spacing than the F22B. He wouldn't be able to use it.
