Default Alpine motorized fold down issue with S2000

I have a Alpine CDA-9851 with a motorized fold down face that I installed in my S2000. I don't know why but when I hit the cd button the face folds down fine, but on the way up it stops just before fully closing. It doesn't look to have any clearance problems. But if I remove the S2000 radio door and shroud it works fine. I also checked the tilt settings on the head unit and they are set to fully closed.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Here a pic and some videos

How it should work

How it doesn't work (I deactivated tilt)

I think it might just be a sensor issue because it doesn't seem to bump into anything

You are the man, with the pics and vid to a problem. I wish alot would post like this. Now to fix. I seen this to many times and a easy fix is to pull the headunit out. Your going to bust out a file and hit the edges were the cages slides in. There is to much pressure around the unit. This will fix your problem

Thanks, I'll see if I can adjust it to relieve some of the pressure.

Yup you are right. I tried it without the cd player's bezel and it worked. I'll try sanding it down a bit tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
