87 integra Auto Tranny question
i recently picked up an 87 integra for cheap.. its auto tranny and shifts kinda weird.. rest of the car is in great shape and runs great.. i asked the guy i got it from if he ever changed the oil in the tranny and he said no... i think there might not be anything wrong with the tranny, other than it needs an oil change (cheap/easy way to figure out whats wrong).. if that doesnt fix it then i'll replace the tranny, but that cost alot and require alot of work.. so figure the oil change first makes sense.
also.. users manual calls for Dextron 2 ATF, but, that is no longer available and it says not to use dextron 3.. trying to figure out what to do.

I'm not sure about the fluid question but whatever you decide to do make sure you get a automatic transmission FLUSH don't just get it drained and refilled because that doesn't work very well at all because a high % of the fluid stays in the torque convertor unless it is flusehd out properly.
