The SRS light has been on for a week on my 01 Civic with 85,000. Honda service said to check the battery first and I found it wasn't holding a charge so I replaced it last Sat. Its been 6 days and I have done city and hwy driving and the SRS light hasn't reset and is still on. How much longer should I wait before taking it in to Honda? How long is the usual reset time if it was just the battery causing it to come on?

 

Go to the Accord forum, and go the the FAQs in the stickies up top. Then find 'Electrical', and 'Clearing SRS'. Should be the same procedures.

It won't reset by itself. Or google it, there is another site with pictures.
