Default DC5 Brake Upgrade?

Hey Guys,

I just did a quick search and I didn't find any information. But I was wondering if it was possible, or if anyone has done it yet. Has any done a full DC5 brake conversion in their DC2? I am going to get all the parts:
-5 Bolt Hubs
-Brembo Calipers
-Rotors
-Full Front/Rear Suspension
-Parking Brake Cables

Has it been done and how much will it cost? Is a straight forward upgrade like DC2 Type-R on to a regular DC2 (5 Lug Conversion)? Please let me know.

I am not doing this just for the 5 lug. I want to upgrade my braking system and not break the bank.

I might not even need the suspension components, I just want to upgrade the braking system, and that might mean I will have to use the 5 bolt hubs?

that can easily be taken care of with new pads and rotors. you dont need 10 piston calipers to have better braking.

but do need pads and rotors match up to big brake kits? I am going to boost my car and I want it to be able to stop. I don't think stock components will do justice.

when you start experiencing fade with the stock system then you can think about upgrading to a bbk. they work perfectly fine in many occasions.

Here is another option! You don't even need to upgrade to 5-bolt.

This is an 11.8" brake upgrade, the dubbed RSX-Type-S brakes. Ok there not the expensive Brembo's but still fantastic.

The Brembo brakes do NOT fit a DC2 ITR because the ITR's hub is too wide (the brembo rotor is a bit different in hat and centerbore dimensions.)

This upgrade...as it sits here after I redrilled the rotors, is a bolt on to 4x100 Integras.

BTW, 350$ if you are interested.

or just do the tried and true method of getting ITR calipers or compatible calipers. Accord wagons and certain model of legends have ITR calipers. get an ITR rotor for only 25 each. re-drill to 4x100 is cheap. and voila 11.3" disc

RSX and EP3 rear calipers work on our cars. and early EP3 rear rotors are already 4x100 and 10.3"
