Side air bag lights??

Side air bag lights??

Hey,

I got a 2000 Accord. And when i drive my side airbag light comes on for a few seconds. Can someone tell me why? Should i be worried?

I think if you lean on, or get too close to the door, there is a sensor that will turn the side airbag off. That may be what is happening. Test it out.

i second that. my car does the same thing (2000 accord coupe ex), if the person sitting in that seat leans a funny way, or if i have my book bag chillen there the light comes on. I dont think its anything to be worried about
