Default Cheapest way to a faster car.

So I have a d15b7 in a 93 del sol. My goal for the car is to just run about a 15.5. I'm not building a drag car, so dont tell me to swap a b in and turbo or some crap. i dont have that kind of money, and that is not what i want. My plan was to do this, swap a d16z6, I have a intake and muffler for it now, so i was going to continue to use them, throw a header on it, and get a jet ecu upgrade. Now my question for you is will this get what i want? (15.5) Is there a cheaper way? or a route anyone else would suggest? Like i said before, dont tell me some useless crap that will cost me a **** ton of money.

and another thing...you can find cheap b series motors. you can probably pick up an ls for a couple hundred bucks. even less if you know where to look/who to talk to

^^^ Facts. Been there already. Had a sol w/ Intake, Header, Exhaust, SPOON CHIP, and Dyno'd a couple times. Ran 15.9's on slicks. That was pretty lucky too.

you can always repace the cam. You are going to end up spending more money on a NA motor than boosting. But a good power gain for the cost I guess would be the cam

piece together a turbo kit...can be done for under a grand if you know where to look and can do all the work yourself...most expensive piece of that i would think would be tuning...and if you do go turbo, get it TUNED.

Ok, first off, i can tell you didnt read the topic. I said i want the cheapest way(bang for buck) to make my car run 15.5. also my definition of fast is about a 13 sec car, but that has nothing to do with anything, beucase i simply stated i want to run about 15.5, so before you go off and say a semi-smart *** remark read the topic.

Ok now that thats done, thanks for the rest of the input.
