rear rotor removal
ok, there are the 2 phillips head screws in the rotors. how do i get those out, one is stripped, and from what i can tell they bolt the rotor to the hub.
please help, as i need new rear rotors BADLY!

Yep.
For the stripped one, you might have to drill it out. When you replace the screws, use anti-seize so the next person (or maybe even you) is not as screwed...

They don't have to be there, in fact, many aftermarket rotors don't even have the holes for them. The lug nuts will hold your rotor just fine. I wonder how many guys on here aren't using them.
I have heard that the only reason they are there, is so the rotor doesn't fall off the hub while the car is moving down the assembly line at the manufacturing plant. I can't confirm this because I don't work at a Honda plant.
