I picked up this hatch for a beater, 1993 DX auto with 208k. the body is in good shape but the paint is really bad, lots of clear coat damage as you can see. well since I have about $1000 worth of detailing supplies I figured I might as well make it a little better. Obviously not perfect but it shows what some good product and a rotary buffer can do

If I want to take out that faded clearcoat, ill have to do some wetsanding......

that car would close to mint if that clear coat was sanded, there looks to be little to no dents on the body

Yea I might do it, theres one ding on the whole car, and the front bumper is kinda beat up, thats about it.

Honestly the paint looks damaged, id just save your supplies and call it a day
