15x8 +0 offset on 5th gen with flares....
anyone sporting this setup? i just acquired a 5th gen 4dr for $500 since my civic just recently got stolen (MOTHER FVCKERS!!!!!!). anyways, before the civic i had a s14 so i know about the sportmax rims and how theyre 4x114 like the accord. its just an idea im tossing around to be different. anyone know of anyone who has these on an accord (pics?). also, does anyone know if anyone makes fender flares for a 5th gen? if not, thats not a problem. its alot easier to just by them than make them. dont know if this should go in appearance or not, but all accord owners are right here so....
Fender flares are gay.
Rolling the fenders would look way better. I still think you'll rub alot.
A 32ish offset would look, and work alot better, IMO.

alright so u want the 15x8 sport max rims in zero offset for yer accord? if it is 94-97 i think the rims will look tiny on there and fender flares on a family car... not sure about that, bud.
i would try +25 offset (max) 16x7 or 17x7.5 on those cars w/ rolled fenders.
the stock offset was like +50

ok, you guys dont have the vision i do in my head. i was just wanting to see pics of them on a 5th gen. i know it would look good. theyre dirt cheap, thats the only reason why i was even thinking about getting them. if im buying rims its gonna be those. anyone know of a place who has fender flares? you guys ever seen a touring car before??? four doors, fender flares, low offset rims.... i think you get the idea. another thing... even though the stock offset is like +50 the stock wheel is only 6'' wide at most. you dont need to school me on offsets, nor does anybody else. i owned a s14 for three years so i have my fair share of dealing with offsets and widths...
i had about 5 rwds in my day, too. they just have shorter axles and bigger wheel wells to fit the bigger widths/lower offsets.
and nobody is skooling anybody. u made the thread and i replied.
i am just saying that 15" will look small and u should get something a lil bigger for that platform.

I wouldn't put fender flares on a 4 door accord, very bad idea IMO. But, do what you like. I do agree w/ Ralph though if you are gonna flare it having a wheel that wide and low offset is gonna look really small. But maybe you want that trueno style stretched tire look???

im gonna put a meaty tire on it. if a 225 will fit ill prob do 225-50 all around. if i can get them to fit without flares ill do that, but if need be ill do the flares. yes, i will do what i like. i just was wondering if anyone had pics.... i just remembered i have a friend who has them on his s13 who prob wouldnt mind letting me bolt them on.

Touring cars are a whole different ballgame. The Euro Touring cars had modified frames and 18" or 19" wheels not to mention the completely custom suspension. I'm not trying to put your idea down though, just realize those could barely be called Accords when they were finished. As for flares, I just don't think you'll get the look you want with flares. Most flares just go over / on top of the stock fenders. You end up with the same clearance you had before, but it brings the fender out to match the tire. The only problem with this is the car can't be lowered any more than what the stock fenders could clear as they are still there. If you want wide, I think the only way to go would be a metal widebody. It would cost way more than what you paid for the car though that's for sure.
