Which is better the drive by wire or what ever it is scares me a little I have heard third gear can have trouble and the suspension is weak. Thats on the 06 did they make any changes to the 07.

 

I have had no problems with my suspension on my 06 SI 3rd gear everyone has problems with and 2cd you just have to pay more attention while shifting or 3rd will sometimes pop out on you.

My 06 came pre flashed with the DBW update so the rev hang was minimal the 07 SI's already have the reflash from honda for the DBW the only difference between a 06 to a 07 SI is

1.Darker wheels.
2.VSA.
3.Red on Black info gauge opposed to Black on Red gauge for the 06.
4 The floor mats have a SI symbol on them the 06 SI mats don't.

 

Get an 07, VSA alone is worth it

 

Some Si's have had issues with 3rd gear. However, it is rare for me to have that issue. Most times, I will shift slow and make sure the gear shift went into place. There are times when I've shifted very fast and it grinds the gears with the clutch all the way down.
