Uhm...if its only running in 3 cyl it isn't running storng....its worth less than $500 in my opinion would have to have a perfect rust free body with good paint to be worth it honestly, a new/replacement D series would be cheap but depends on your mechanical skills...

Umm, no.

If it's running on 3 cylinders, there is a 99% chance it needs another engine.

If you can do an engine swap yourself, and the body looks clean enough to last a few years, offer them a couple hundred bucks. If not, find something else.

Don't let the low purchase price of an engine fool you.

You will still need general maintenance items such as the timing belt & tensioner, water pump, accessory belts, clutch & pressure plate, rear main seal, air/fuel/oil filters, engine oil, trans oil, and coolant at a minimum. You should budget at least an extra $100 for misc. items you may need during the swap as well.

And that's just for the engine. There's no telling what else the car needs (brakes? axles? fuel lines? etc.).

How is the body ? Do a compression test and see if that cylinder is bad on a compression.

A cylinder not working could be something simple like a spark plug wire, but depending on how long its been like that, could be bad

ur asking if i car is worth it but u havent even looked at it?
whats wrong with people these days......
i think u just wasted every1's time that tried to help u out...
for that i hope its rusted out, has nasty interior, and looks like some1 took a baseball bat to the outside of it.... that way the engine doesnt matter
and some1 wasted ur time
