Default 14.5 @ 101 with zero hooking up in first......

I'm not to ashamed of my first run at the track only 3 days of actual driving with the supercharger all new suspension and azenis....

Now that my excuses are out of the way

Here is the video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ly4ErbTbt_w

14.5 @ 101 with a better launch and 60' i should be in the mid to high 13's

Also during this run my lower engine plastic trim flew off and dragged it down the track bwhahaha

Not too shabby for your first run with all the new goodies...unfortunately I can't watch the clip at work, damn near everything is blocked here, except for Honda forums for some reason.

I would rather they block our ****, rather than blocking it they just give us shitty comps that would be torture to watch a vid on lol.

Well thats fast enough to run with any non-pro driver in an s2k.

Let alone what you can actually run...I know I always get a little nervy at the track...twitching like im retarded or something.

Nice run Mike. I am not going to critique your run since I have not been on a track for 20 years and hence, have no business commenting.

However, I agree with your estimate of mid 13's. My mechanic, who is also a race car driver, believes my car could hit the mid to low 13's. Since I think we have pretty much the same mod's, I would think you could do that, if not better.

Looking forward to seeing some more runs from you to see if he is right, since my car will probably never see a track.

Congrats on the time. Damn, that looks fun.

OHH i thought that was a GTO....lol j/k

You can tell, right when the tires hooked you took off.

Some slicks or D/R's and you'll pull much better numbers.
Plus your running a stock header...
We'll take some sweet vids on the GSP Saturday

get rid of the azenis ... overated for drag for sure ... trust me ...
i tried them vs pe2 vs ps2 vs some hancook tire vs the goodyear f1 vs stock all season crappys ....
all the cars had 18s except for the one with the stockers ...
let me tell u the only tire that felt worst than the azenis was the stockers and to an extent the hancooks.

cancel out that spin and

nice

how u get beat by a truck ... hehe .. j/k

If an SI with I/H/E and hondata reflash will hit a 13.8 you should def be lower then that
nice run and good luck towards future runs

That's awesome man

You should have had a closeup right when your tires hooked up just to see your 'O' face.

What was your 60'? You need slicks cuz. Did you get your car tuned with the SC?

Atco not that bad my friend has a 600hp civic and he go's 10s at atco and 10s at e-town. But mike your car will go 13teens with no problem with good tires. My car went 13.8 at 101 all motor. Your car sounds sick

That's what I'm saying...usually when you trap 101mph...you're definitely in the 13's unless you have a really shitty 60'. In which case, I know you did. What was it?

Didn't say anything was bad about it, but you can't compare an Si with I/H/E @ Atco to an Si @ E-town with CTSC.

Atco is one of the fastest tracks...

It's like comparing dynos from 2 different dynos.

Just sounds like mike's bashing Atco and its fast times but saying Etown is better.

Faster = Better in drag racing right?

I'm no expert on the subject of drag racing so enlighten me.

I'm just saying you can't really compare different cars at different tracks.
