HELP! Which bumper support to use with I/C and stock bumper cover on '91 HB?

HELP! Which bumper support to use with I/C and stock bumper cover on '91 HB?
I used the search option and came up with nothing.
I read somewhere that an '88 HF bumper support is lighter and allows easier installation of an I/C... is this true? Will the HF bumper support bolt-on a '91 DX HB while still using the stock '91 bumper cover?
The main goal is to fit a decent sized I/C behind the stock bumper without hacking it beyond recognition and also to save weight.
Any help is appreciated!

My dad was able to fit his Conquest intercooler behind his bumper with only hacking the hood latch support.
