Default About to buy an 07' Civic Si.... Couple Questions....

I had an Silver Civic before and loved it, but the Fuji blue looks sweet. How hard is it to keep clean? Also, I have the dealership at $22,000 on the road on a Si, but I would like them to throw some extras in there like fog lights. How did you guys get any extras? Hoping to buy this weekend. Hit me back soon.

The Fiji blue stays clean pretty well. Try to get them to throw in things like wheel locks and fogs. Check into the Aero Kit, I just had em roll it into my payments, but I got it at dealer cost being an employee.

You have them at $22k on a Coupe or a Sedan? And that's the base price with no extras included? If so that is pretty high.

You really need to list all the specs on the car. Is this a navi/hfp included? If those things are in there that is a better price. If the car is bone stock i would walk away right now.

I've posted this before, so sorry if I annoy someone. But I haven't bought an Si yet, cause monthly payments would be too much at this point in time. I went to the dealership and test drove a Si Sedan and got a quote on it. I'm going to trade in my 98 EJ6, they said they would give me $3000 for it. So total on the Sedan, OTD was $20,300. I told him that I knew they could go lower, and that I understand they need to make a profit, but there was no way I was gonna pay MSRP on the car. The salesman talked to his manager and they said they could knock off another $1200 from the $20,300 originally quoted. So for a bone stock, no extras Si, you shouldn't be paying more than $20k. Especially now that they are out and the demand isn't insane anymore.

At out dealer here in monroe we have anywhere from 8-10 coupes and 8-10 sedan Sis, so no the demand is not really there anymore.

So, how does all that MSRP Invoice pricing work? The MSRP is like $21,000 and the Invoice is like $19,000. It is bone stock. What would be the price I should pay out the door for a Si Coupe Without Navigation/Summer Tires? What is included in the HFP Package? I am glad I asked before I went. I though it was a good deal.

I think the MSRP on a Coupe is like $21,685 and the Sedan is $21,885...I know there's only a $200 difference. If they won't budge from $22k, you tell them they better add in some HFP wheels, and some fogs or something. Just let them know you did your research and you know that $22k is too high (for bone stock, no accessories). If you don't say anything, they are gonna take all they can get. For the Coupe, bone stock, try to get them under $20k...maybe like $19,800 or $19,900, don't know if you'll get it lower than that.

I was just reading reviews on it, and alot of people are complaining about a slipping 3rd gear. I mean almost every review said something about it. Is there a recall on this or what is the deal?

Several threads about this, try the search. But I took one for a test drive and didn't notice anything. There is a reflash out for the 06's but if you're getting an 07, no need to worry...it's reflashed from factory.

It's a standard Honda/Acura 6 speed gearbox issue from what has been found. 3rd gear is notchy, but on varying degrees.

I wouldn't consider it a BIG deal, but it should be watched for. Newer MTF and short shifters seem to make it easier to deal with, btw.

The 3rd gear is getting better with the newer fluid.

The full HFP kit is a full body lip all around, a 1 inch drop susp., 17 or 18 inch wheels, and a no perfromace exhaust.

Starting msrp for an 07 si is 21,090

he has said the OUT THE DOOR price more than once. you guys are talking the price of the car, msrp, invoice etc. He said 22,000 dollars OTD, which would be including tax, title, reg, inspection, doc fee, etc etc whatever his state or dealer adds on. In mass its 5% tax, 86 for title and plate fees, 29 inspection, the dealer i worked at was 279 doc fee, so 22,000 INCLUDING all that is not a BAD price by any means.
What is your states tax %, because that makes a big difference, if at 5% your getting a decent deal, if 8% its a pretty damn good deal. you get the point, so what is a breakdown of the #'s??

I did tell him an OTD price...My OTD quote on an 07 Si Sedan was $20,300, after trade in, 7% sales tax, title, tags all that bull ****. Then I got the salesman to take another $1200 off. So $22k is not a good deal for a bone stock, no accessory Si Coupe or Sedan. This was all stated in my 2nd post.

You really have no idea what you are talking about. The MSRP on the car is 20,090. If he is paying 22K he is PAYING MSRP PLUS TAX AND TAG. The thread got off topic when people started talking about what he should be asking to get inrelation to msrp. He is paying full price for a car with nothing in it. People have been getting Navi's below msrp, the buyer should walk away.

I just bought my Si Sedan with Navi last night. I paid 23k with taxes/tags. I also got all season floormats, trunk tray, splash guards, and wheels locks in that price. I then paid 805 for the 7yr/100k extended warranty so when all said and done, it was 23.8k

You're right on the MSRP I accidently typed $21,685 (my bad) it was supposed to be $20,685 (that includes destination, which they will charge). And I already told him it was a bad deal and that he shouldn't be paying that much for a bone stock coupe. No need to get frustrated, just read the posts. He's been told OTD prices, he's been told $22k is not good.
