I have a 94 accord and of course im going to drop a H22A into it. but my car is an auto and i wanted to know if it would be easier to swap an automatic tranny with an h22 or just swap the tranny to manual

IMO, the extra work to convert to a manual tranny is well worth the effort. The automatic H22 tranny is so-so. The H22 manual tranny is what makes an H22 swap rewarding.

Swap the tranny too. And since you're going to have the engine out it'll be much easier than doing it later on.
