What's up everyone. AEM is looking for a 2007 TL-S for intake development. Typical development time is two weeks. If you are in Los Angeles, drop me a line for the details.

So you can build another misfitting product and tell customers off when they phone in with a concern.
Tell Rob in service that I said get bent. Here's the problem with Rob, and furthermore, with AEM in general. Being that your company builds products from simple modifications to engine management hardware and software, you will naturally have a wide range of customers with varying skills and knowledge. A long time ago, when I was just getting into the hobby, I had a fitment problem with the AEM CAI I bought, and when I called customer service, Rob told me (and I quote him) "I don't have time to sit here and listen to people complain about fitment problems." Now imagine being a total novice, and being told that by what was seemingly the only source of assistance at the time. Yeah.
More importantly, if AEM were not willing to listen to problems about their own products, then who should?
It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I almost stopped modding my car. Thanks to my friends and other companies with great customer service, I'm still in the hobby and have since spent much more money on the car (well into 5 figures). Of which I'm glad to say that I've only given 200 dollars to AEM. You will never see another dime from me.
Good bye.

"Rob" no longer works for AEM. Sorry you had such a poor experience, but at that time there was only one person taking those type of calls. Imagine doing customer service for about 10 years worth of product with the AMOUNT of product in the field. Maybe you caught him on a bad day. Unfortunate, yes. Excusable, no. http://www.gregnakano.com/blog/tl_s_dyno.jpg
Yes, but unfortunately the database for the website is being revamped an the performance data has not been added at this point. I can email you the graph if you want.

Looks like the TL-S suffers from the sudden VTEC jump. There would be more power if the VTEC crossover was lowered. I am interested to see if the regular TL has this too.

Apparently I was wrong about this. The TL-S has a VTEC crossover at 5000rpm. Your graph shows a nice smooth transition. I guess there is a sudden torque jump at that higher rpm point I was looking at before... Whatev'...
