My LS turbo teg got stolen a couple years ago. But they found it down south in olympia. So my advice would be for the south end crowd to keep an eye out for it. cuz lotta cars from the eastside and the northend get found down south. I'm up north so i'll keep an eye out too. Don't worry though, thieves ALWAYS get what's comin to them. I don't care who they are or who they jack from. If they jack and I find them, it's goin down regardless. So no worries, WE GOT YOUR BACK!
Sorry to hear--what a ******* nightmare. Recently it has come to light that there are a couple of chop shops operating in the hills east of Everett/Lynwood area. In particular some stolen Honda's have been intercepted on thier way up to the Granite Falls area, but the chop hub has not been located yet. Not close to your area, but I think some of these rings tend to jack **** from other counties to keep the heat off thier own little shanty town.
Right now the state is looking at changing the laws to make car theft not just another ******* 'property theft' violation. I watched some of the hearings, the cops are practically beggin for the ability to truly lay the book down on some of these scumbags.
Too many ***** representatives are worried about sending 'joyriding' teenagers to do hard time, so some are trying to further the measure by making a clear distinction between stealing your Honda to ride and stealing it to make $. I hope it goes through, but considering the way the legislature operates, I wouldn't hold your breath.
Until then, we'll have to defend with layered security or bricks, bats and berettas. Hope you get her back intact--I will keep eyes peeled this should be easy to spot on the road.

Huh? Stealing a car is a serious offense. Grand Theft Auto is a Felony, I believe Washington have that three stikes (felony) your out and you in prision for Life.
Bump I hope they find you car man I know how it feels

I'm not intimately familiar with the laws...I'm sure you're correct on GTA being a felony in WA state, but somehow a lot of these guys seem to wiggle out of that charge, incredible as it may seem. A lot of what prompted this big push was not just the rising car theft in WA (think we're like 4th in the nation now), but the fact that a lot of the guys that do get caught are repeat offenders.
I would bet even money that whoever took this poor guy's EG has been caught and convicted in the past, and obviously didn't learn his lesson.
The worst case I know of firsthand was a guy I worked with up north. One morning his 91 Civic hatch is gone when he wakes up. Next day, he's mowing his lawn, and the fuggen car DRIVES by his house, this is a busy arterial street near town center. Smart car thief eh? So he hops in nieghbors car, burns rubber to chase the guy, calls cops on a cell and they nail him at Wal-Mart.
Turns out to be drug users, who had already half stripped the interior for parts to sell. Heroin needles laying in the back seat and the whole bit. Think he went to jail? Think again.
The guy was out within days, NOT charged with GTA--instead he got to go to 'rehab' because he was such a "poor, suffering crackhead that needed help'. My buddy tried to pursue the matter within the courts to get money to repair the hackjob to the wiring and interior, all to no avail. The cops were more concerned with the drugs than the fact this guy and his buddies were stealing cars to part them out for another hit.
I don't see how that story is any different than a chop shop operation. If you steal a car for the purpose of profit, you should go down fast and hard--period. Some of this mamby pamby slap on the wrist **** thieves are getting is truly ridiculous. You know how they cut the right hand off a person in the middle east for stealing, so he has to use his 'dirty' hand for everything else? If I had my way, GTA boys would get thier clutch foot hacked off after the second offense. ******* ********--try working that stolen teg clutch with an uneven stump...
