Default si or type r?

hey guys, i have a 99 civic si i/e. im about to swap the block out for a gsr block, keepin the head cuz i think its better, and the tranny which is better. im just wondering, would i keep up with a type r integra?

or what quarter mile time would i get?

I mean there's alot of factors dude. only real way to find out is go to the track, and if there's a R there... then ask him if he wants to run. keep it off the street please.

yea im talking about at the dragstrip, my streetracing days are over, cops are 2 strict.

but what factors do u mean, i have 17 inch roja wrapped in toyo tires, their decent, grip is A. im a good driver, id get a exedy stage 2 clutch, lets say this is in 60 degree weather dry surface with a good driver.

if u cant estimate the quarter mile, just tell me how much of an improvement would i notice, or how fast 0-60 i would be, right now im at like 6.8 seconds with stock engine. no weight reduction.
