If you could do it again, what would you do? If you were going to buy another crx or civic, what would you do differently than you did the first time?

I'd buy a CRX that doesn't have rotted out window trimming, and has no mods to the car. (because they screw up the car with their POS mods)

Instead of rewelding the mounts, I would have used a mount kit so I could position it closer to the firewall for more turbo room.

I would have started off with a Haltech instead of wasting all that money on chipped ECMs, V-AFCs, FMUs, etc...

I would have never wasted all that time on the B18A and the B16A, I would have immediately started on the B18C turbo.

Saved my money, bought a straight bodied CRX shell, strip COMPLETELY, prep it myself, take it to Maaco or some other $300 paint job place.

Build ZC, boost it to hell.

I think I did a good job on picking out my rex, but I think I would have gone the route of rebuilding the stock si motor and boosting, or slapping in a zc and boosting that.

I know since I have a b16 in there I have a better starting point then if I had the d-series or zc, but I would have been plenty happy running in the 13's or 12's maybe, with one of the other two engines.

And I wish I wouldn't have bought a piece of **** cf hood. I think rain droplets dent it. It is just one big wavy piece of **** now. But I still love my car.

My thoughts exactly...should've just saved a bit more for a B18C....

If I could have done it differently I would do this no coilovers, no motor mount inserts, B16a and turbo first, or Sohc vtec turbo. If I think about it in the long run sohc vtec turbo sounds pretty nice.
