exhaust gasket material??

Default exhaust gasket material??

I need to make a gasket for a header I just made.. what to make it out of? I have a cnc router table to cut it on

24 guage works good, even better if it's copper.

Also, it's not going to do any good unless you put some type of bead in it to conform to an irregular surface.

I would use some thing like Garlock Graph lock or a similar graffiti gasket material easy to cut by hand, and holds up to extreme temps and is soft so it will conform to the flanges better. I use the stuff on ships for turbine exhausts
