Wondering if there are some more affordable sources out there for V-bands. I generally avoid them if possible due to never finding a nice source.

I bought my 3" here:
http://www.atpturbo.com/Mercha...e=FLG

I couldn't find a better price than the $39/set.

Youngs Performance is where I get all mine from. They allow you to mix and match stainless and AL flanges with their kits. Plus they carried the 3.5" that I was looking for.

atp's kits are mild flanges which I confirm, the band itself is the stainless component. You need to be carefull and make sure you order the band AND the flanges from the same supplier/ manufacturer as there is no consistent measurement for the flanges or clamp itself, every supplier changes the inner groves, and outer lips as they see fit. I believe there is a FDA equivalent thats used in the food processing industry, I'll try and find it but I ordered alot of stuff from them and it was really cheap, a 4" 90 degree aluminum bend was only 12 bucks and smaller stainless bends for wastegate dumps were incredibly cheap as well.

atpturbo website is being gay and slow. Everytime I click check out it kept saying my basket is empty. I ended up getting one from somewhere else.

here's a good link http://www.thomasnet.com/produ....html

personally Thomasnet.com has saved my *** and helped ALOT for finding places locally that can ceramic coat, where to get things machined, welded, anodized, coated etc. Basically anything you can do, thomasnet will tell u everywhere localls that does it.

Wow....good link suggestion there! They even have the 4" v-bands, plus you get to mix aluminum and stainless...that's awesome. It'll be great for a stainless DP, to aluminum exhaust.... 59 bucks too....cheap.

Another good one too....I've been looking for aluminum square tubing and been having a rough time. It's got all kinds of prospects

EDIT....holy crap...I checked that thomasnet and found a place like 3 miles from here that does fabrication...they have all kinds of materials...SCRAP TOO for CHEAP!! YES!!!

Time for me to make the soft top and front bumper for my 4Runner....AND PAINT IT CAUSE I FREAKIN CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!
