anyone know whether i would need motor mounts to do this swap? is it an easy fit? or a bitch? and would it be worth it to kick in the extra money to get a h22a euro r?

You need to use the driver's side motor mount from the donor prelude. Check out accord faq's, it should have a full desciption and procedure of the swap.
