Default Hondata ECU Question

Im going ls/vtec soon with a b16a2 head. I know i need a p28 or p30 ecu of course. BUT if i were to buy a hondata ecm that was once on a '00 type r would i still need the old p28 and piggy back the hondata ecm or get a s200 or s300 and piggy back that on the hondata ecm? Sorry if its a lil confusing, if anyone has trouble making sense of what im needing to know ill try my best

I have an ECU already chipped with hondata s300. Comes with the USB cable.

This ecu was used on my LS turbo. tuned at 10psi.

ii think its a p30 ecu. i have to check. I sent it a P75 ecu, but hondata gave me a prechipped p30 ecu?

let me know. 600obo shipped.

if the ecu was previously used with hondata yes you can use it. it's already socketed and ready.

Yea it was and i specifically asked if there was anything else with it (ie s200 s300 etc) when i was in the car. And he said no, just the Hondata ECM.

what's a hondata ecm?

hondata systems are added onto the stock ecu. it's not a standalone. unless im totally misunderstanding what you're saying.

Go here http://www.hondata.com/accessories.html and maybe that'll help. They are Hondata Prepared ECU's. Does that help any?

oh well in that case it's just like any other socketed ecu. you still need s100/s200/s300 hardware.
