-- 2005 Mazda Miata Mazdaspeed ( Turbo! )
This summer will probably be the official time ill be selling but am eager to sell now if there is a serious buyer. This car is a load of fun, & it is hard to even 'think' about selling. Ive always wanted a convertible, but I purchased it right before winter & never really got to use it for what it was made for, the top down!
I can sell this one of two ways.
1. Completley STOCK, for $19,750. OBO!
2. The way it sits now, for $22,750. OBO!
I have all stock pieces with exception to the air box. Instead, a shitty *** filter will be attached to the MAF. j/k The vehicle has just under 9500 miles. I dont drive too much & have only put 4,500 on it in 7 months. I have tried to keep the car in pristine condition. I have never once let this car sit outside of the garage in my possession. It has never had to sit outside over night. I have used all synthetic fluids. I have a lien on the title through Postal Federal Credit Union, but do have the title in hand...just need to pay it off to have the lien removed.
-Mod List-
-Xede Engine Management
-330cc Injectors
-Flyin' Miata Intake
-Flyin' Miata Downpipe
-3" Mandrel Bent Straight Through Exhaust
-Forge Motorsports Bypass Diverter
-Autometer Boost Gauge
-Zeitronix Wideband Standalone
-eBay FMIC
-Bell Engineering Throttle Body Inlet Boot (Stock one blows up like a balloon under boost, causing it to crack.)
-Auxmod (iPod Hookup into stock BOSE system.)
-Fluids-
-Oil- Royal Purple Synthetic
-Tranny- Redline MT-90
-Rear Differential- Redline 75w90
I have never had an issue with this car at all. It is my daily driver & again, is very fun to drive. DEAD reliable as well. The turbo comes on very quick & lag is very minimal- although, this car is dying for a turbo upgrade. Currently, it is making around 65-75 whp over stock, as I dynoed it at Taliaffero Imports a few months back & that was before I got the larger ebay FMIC and a couple other things im forgetting. On cold tires, this thing will get sideways on you at 40 mph (especially in the winter on those cold roads)... its really just like a big go-kart.
This car still has its warranty!
Exterior wise, I would give it about a 9.8 out of a 10. Some bird took a small **** on the front bumper & I guess the previous owner did not wash it off for a while so you can still kinda make it out. This is easily removeable with a small buff.
Interior is a 9.8 out of 10. Previous owner dropped his cigarette on the seat & caused a small hole. The hole was patched by the dealership I bought it from (Reliable Chevrolet). You probably would have never even knew if I didnt mention it.
Mechanical is a flat out 10. There is occasional mis-fire on a cold startup, but is completley normal with the Xede management. Usually, I hold the gas around 1700-2000 rpm for the first 15-30 seconds (if im in a rush) before driving & its usually done doing its thing. Most of the time, ill let it warm up for a good 2-3 minutes & never, NEVER go into boost until the water temp gauge is completley warmed up... & after about 5 minutes of driving AFTER THAT...until it feels completley warmed up. Too add to this, I have always let the car idle for a good time before turning it off to avoid cooking the oil in the turbo. Most of the time, I dont boost within 1 mile of my destination & give around 30 seconds of time. If I have boosted within 1 mile, I usually give it a minute-3/4 minutes before turning the car off. The turbo is water cooled stock as well.
Several people can vouch for this car & its cleanliness. It is rock solid. I will glady give a ride to serious buyers only, but only with cash in hand. Please, dont waist my time or yours with bullshit. Ive been a salesman for a few years now & I can smell it a mile away.
Thanks!
