Default semi-new RR-FA5 owner *pics no 56K*

hey guys of HT. i am an old, but no longer, member/super moderator of OrlandoForums.com & ive come to the darkside. bad blood with a bunch of members of the site & that in itself is a LoOONG story.....

anywho, i work for Holler Honda of Orlando here locally (& there's a couple other members here that work for Holler as well ive come to find out) & as of 3/19 im the proud owner of a 2007 Honda Civic 4DR Si in Rallye Red. i traded in my clean and quite fabled i hear 2001 Honda Civic 2DR EX in Rallye Red w/ the gunmetal '03 Si hatch wheels & HID heads/fogs...

just wanted to put in a newbie thread since i noticed my post-count was 1...lol

here's some pics of the day i took delivery in March (A LOT).

this group of pics is from actual delivery of the car. it was my day off, but i was the first SALE, first FINANCE DEAL, first EMPLOYEE PURCHASE & first DELIVERY of our new location that opened the same day. so i had to have my photo taken with my GM, my GSM/Boss & of course the Holler brothers (Chris & Roger) who own most of Winter Park as a whole & 11 Holler/Classic car dealers locally...

the mod list is pretty tiny @ the moment, but things will be in the works soon as i payoff the below.
so far:
OEM foglight kit purchased from Honda -just shy of 400 bucks-
white-LED license plate illumination replacement ~$20
white-LED reverse light replacements (15 LEDs each side) ~$15
HFP kit will be ordered first thing Thursday (sadly, to cover up a curb brush on front passenger side ) -$966-
HID heads/fogs are on order from HELLA in Germany -$285 shipped-

comments are welcomed & dont say anything about the stock suspension.... cuz its going to get lowered eventually. not much, just enough to low the center of gravity & add to the clean appearance.

1. ricer flyby

The act of speeding by the winner of a street race at a high rate of speed, after losing said street race.

Passing the lead car in a street race, after the race has clearly ended. Usually performed because the loser is upset at the outcome of the race, and is secretly crying inside.

AKA: ricer buzz-by, ricer blow-by

After losing the race, Jimmy did a ricer flyby to avenge his loss.

I like the look on your face here, it's saying "goodbye my dear old friend but I don't think of you in those terms anymore. Your old and well it's an 07 honda civic Si. You'll understand, some pissed off teenager will be more happier with you!"

LOL @ all the responses on this thread.
*thanks for the positive well-wishes. much appreciated. the HFP kit was ordered today & will be @ my dealer/work on Tuesday. :D

*as for the comments about my weight & "token"ness.... lol ummm yeah, thanks i think. hahah. hiiiigh-metabolism OWNS me! & believe it or not, im almost 24 years old.

*the housing comment: the neighborhood where the pics were taken @ the bottom is Avalon Park nearby Waterford Lakes in Orlando. the other ones (yellow house) is mine & its in the Winter Park area of O-town.

finally, the comment about "some teenager" getting my old coupe... notsomuch. it went to auction on account of the front end damages (light, but still present). also it had 102,500 miles & they wouldnt put it on the lot as "modified" as it was according to the inspection.

sad tho, i would have LOVED to see my 7thGen rollin' around Orlando one day. :/

Very nice car, I love the red 4-doors. I wish I could've gotten my car in red, but the 06 AT's only came in a maroon shade (plus it's my first car and my insurance company probably wouldn't have taken so kindly to a bright red car for a 17 year old).

I cant believe your under 24.....really not trying to be rude....but from the pics you look like your in your late 20's-early 30's.
