well i got a few questions about the hf. i just picked one up and had some spare parts so maybe i'll make it a little more peppy.

i want to throw on my dx head and an si intake manifold, computer and tranny can the hf block handle that? revs to 6500? do i have to rig the dizzy to the head?and do i need any thing else for this to work? new to the hf

I believe you can do what you are proposing. If you change the ecu, as well as the intake, you should be Ok. I think the dizzy is the same.

so the hf dizzy should fit in the dx head without a hack job? cause i know the mpfi dizzys are different then the dpfi dizzys.

I believe you have to change the pistons also... Since the hf is orginaly a 8 valve (1 intake and 1 exhaust in each cylinder.) and the dx, si are 16 valve. Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the other valves are going to interfer (the extra 8).

if you are looking for a little more pep just change the intake, exaust manifold and computer. that transmisson really sucks for performance. the zc will work but i think you have to use the halfshaft from a 86-89 integra and, the axles from a 90-93 integra. you will have to change the hubs to dx hubs. hatchback or sedan will work
