Any issues fitting 15X7 with a 38 offset?
Im looking to buy some wheels that are 15X7 with a 38 offset wrapped in 205/50 tires, any issue with a 90 Honda Civic hatch with no rolled fenders? Thanks!
If they're for street use, I wouldn't get that size for a '90 Civic. The tires are too large. The best matching 15" tire size for your car is 195/50-15. And 195/50-15 will look too stretched on a 15x7 wheel. Stick with 195/50-15 and 15x6 (or no wider than 15x6.5).
The only exception (aside from track use) is if you want to use the Falken Azenis RT-615, which doesn't come in 195/50 so you're stuck with the larger 205/50 size.

Hmm so you think I may have a problem? I had 205 45/16"s before and had no problems but that was on a 40 offset.
Or are you just saying you dont prefer the look? Thanks

</TD></TR></TABLE>actually what he is saying that 195/50 is the correct size. my bad for tellin you 205 was . i didnt read enough into it....anyway..if you have skinny or oversize tires then your rpm's will be screwed up a little.
if you see 65 on yer speedometer you will only probably be goin 63.

To be sure you will avoid rubbing, stick with tires whose outer diameter is the same as the stock tires on your car. With 15" wheels, that's 195/50-15.
