What don't you like about your 07 Civic Si 4-dr?
IMO I think the weirdest thing about it is that it's a 4-door. Kinda throws it off from the traditional coupe concept that the Si is known for.
Still a new concept though and one that i'm sure will catch on.

about the only things i dislike about my new Si 4DR is the following:
the gas mileage
the curb mark on my bumper cuz of my dumbass & a mis-calculation.
everything else is absolute bliss. and ive got an '07 so i dont have the crazy outrageous drive-by-wire rev hang and the sh*tty 3rd gear troubles.

i agree... take the front headllights off the coupe with the subtle, but cool amber circle piece & blend it with the amazing styling of the sedan & that'd be siiiick.
already checked tho... they are diff part #s and different in size and design just slightly. it would have to be a complete front clip swap like what ppl do with the GTis and the Jettas. lol.
and to the guy with the weight question... the sedan is exactly 60lbs heavier than the coupe. and its still QUITE fast believe me on that one!!!!

In the near future we will be seing people put the front clip swap on their 4drs. i can see it now.

Hmm always thought the SI was traditionally a hatchback.

I love the 4dr civics, only reason i didnt get a SI, wife cant drive a stick and I know i'd get into trouble with it. Always nice to put in drive and just relax sometimes too. Anyway, i always get a kick out of test driving the SI's

Dude, you are so mislead. I'd roll one of those in an instant.
How about the '83 S, ftw? The original SI with out the I.

the sedan weighs about 60 lbs more. has same performance numbers but for some reason most dyno charts ive seen sedans posted alittle higher. no idea why though.

The coupe is a new concept as well, just as new as the sedan. A hatchback was what the SI was always known for.
I just think the coupe is more easily accepted since it looks quite hot, and the sedan is a lot more subtle. Still, Sedan > Coupe when I'm trying to think practicality.

I didn't like the idea of the 4 door at first, but then I went to the dealership, looked it over and took it for a spin. Needless to say I'm sold on the 4 door and will hopefully be buying one within the next year. Same power and only 60lbs heavier...I'm down

By coupe I meant two-door. Poor choice of words I know.
. For some reason the 4 door just doesn't look quite normal on an Si to me. Although I have to admit the Type R version looks quite nice.

Well here at the dealer you have no idea how many customers would come in and say WOW i really want that Si, but there is just no way I can get a car seat in there.
He we are now with all these 4 door for 4 door si trade ins.
Not just that everyone here who has an srt-4 or cobalt ss is finally stepping into a real car as well. theose 2 cars are traded in quite frequently for 4 dr si.

Smart people, although I don't mind the SRT-4, but Cobalt SS makes me dry heave.

Don't have any as of yet, all I have done so far is test drove one. I placed a deposit on monday, just waiting for the stealership to locate my color choice for me. I'll let you know if I have any complaints.
Why are alot of people complaining about gas mileage? I am guessing the Si doesn't come close to the EPA estimates

All of the fuel consumption tests ive done on them get an average of 25-28mpg. Even getting her into 6k where she really purzzz.
sticker is for 23-31 mpg.

The fact that it's a 4dr is actually awesome. When they introduced the EM1, people said the same thing about how it should be a hatchback and whatnot, but that EM1 sold like crazy. I think the same thing is happening with the current 2dr and the new 4dr SIs.
at first i went in to buy a 2dr but i ended up with a 4dr. the coupe does have more aggressive styling, but the 4dr is too damn convinient to pass up. if i feel like a 2 dr. i'll drive my old civic
