Default temperature question....

I think there's something wrong with my bike. I was riding today and all of a sudden I felt my leg getting hot. I look at the temperature and is at 220 when I'm stopped. It will go down to 180 when I'm riding but once I stop it rises up. Is there something wrong or I just never knew this happens. The bike is an 03 cbr600 rr. If this temperature is high or what I just said seems bad let me know what it could be. thanks

Fan should kick on at that point. 220 at a stop is normal.
