Do gsr cam gears say 'pr3' on them?
supposedly they are 95 gsr cams, but im suspecting i got ripped bc pr3's usually mean b16 right?

 

camshafts or cam gears? all cam gears for the b-series are the same.

 

its the cam gears that have the pr3 stamped on them.
im trying to find out if the gsr head i bought came with gsr cams.. and not b16 cams that he may have swapped with

 

Yes, all B-series cam sprockets are market "PR3", including the GS-R.

yeah, all b-series vtec cam gears are market pr3 except for the LS.. LS usually has the pr4 stamp

 

thanks, well is there any way i can tell if they are gsr cams or b16 cams without measuring them?

Do you have any photos of these? This is the first time I've seen that stated.

my timing cover was off when replacing the timing belt nd water pump nd i looked @ the cam gears nd it said pr4. i mite be mistaken tho but i did remember seeing pr4 on mines
