Default Car broken into

As the title says my car got messed up and stereo stolen

I parked the car the night before in a small lot (everyone parks there) across the street from my high school... People park there over an hour before school starts to get a spot, so I park it there at night and get a ride in the morning, so I can have my car the rest of the day (lunch, leave early ect) sometime between 11pm-8am my 90 white integra DA was broken into...
Drivers side window off hinges, broken door handle, smashed completely (prolly baseball bat) passenger side window...
215$ brand new panasonic head unit
Luckily speakers and sub are all there
Ill post pics of the damage soon
According to my insurance they dont cover "after market stereos" even with receipets of instalation and purchase... And i have a 500$ deductable... so i have to pay for it all

*shot in the dark* If anyone sees my headunit... (pics below) on ebay or some **** or if anyone knows about it in my area? let me know please
.... I dont have 500$... and its raining... so i am out of a car for a while....
theifs

I know, wrong forum, just tryin to see if anyone has any advice what to do... or if that agent was an idiot/wrong or what
...thanks...

thieves

but i dont see the point in having a car, to drop it off the night before hand, then get a ride there in the morning. especially a honda, which i would never leave mine in a parking lot where i wasnt

hope you find out who it was, my stereo and ecu/hondata, and other **** was stolen a few months ago too

Well, I am a senior and only half the seniors get parking passes... I hate cafeteria food and I do not want to eat lunch there, id rather go home save money or go get some decent food somewhere.. I know its stupid to leave it in a parking lot, but I live in a very nice neighboorhood for the most part...
I doubt ill find out who did it

Looks like you need to have your drivers window fixed, passenger window replaced, door handle replaced and im sure they proably broke interior pieces. So what if they dont cover aftermarket stereos? Good for them let them pony up the money to buy a factory CD player from acura for your car. A new radio for a 00 SI lists out at $832.38, you need to learn how to stick it to them

I gurantee you there is more than $500 damage to your car

Agreed with everything combined you should have more then 500 in damage. All in all id consider yourself lucky. Having had 2 cars stolen from me myself id say your lucky they didn't take anything else considering your willing to leave the car in an unattended parking lot overnight.

As for advice, go to school earlier and park in the mornings? Live without a car at school? What your doing really isn't the best idea.

true... leaving it in a parking lot at night is obviously never good
and i know im lucky for the most part, and especially lucky about having a car still... I just hate having a deductable when theres nothn you can do to avoid stuff like this

they said with proof of installation from a well known source it would be covered when I called back!
thats good news
and well see, estimater guy comes on friday

My only suggestion from now on is to leave the car at home, and bring a bagged lunch. Schoolparking lots are prime targets unfortunately.

F*** Thieves! But no offense, I would never leave my car ANYWHERE but my garage or a place watched by security guards/officers for more than an hour. Thieves also tend to come at night so Honda/Acura +night time + 8 hours and more = DANGER to Thieves. They stole my car about 2 months ago... My baby... But it's okay, got a better car from the insurance after praying in tears....
