WTB gsr - b18c1 specific questions
Hey all. Just to recap on things that i think i know
1. The engine itself can take around 300 hp safely tuned w/o too much stress? (turbocharged and inter-cooled?)
2. When people say "rebuilt motor" is it just new studs and the like?
3. Worse come to worse, how much would it be for a whole new engine/tranny combo?
4. If i were to run 300hp, the clutch would def need to be upgraded right?
5. um. this isnt vehicle related, but. when do i become a non trial member?
Thanks!

1. Yes if the engine is healthy just do a compression and leakdown test before you try anything
2. Rebult Motor to me is just replacing the rings and seals and such and maybe putting new studs. Its a pretty general term but I would just ask specificly what they did to it if your planning to buy it. If they did the work and cant tell you what they did to it than I would move on.
3. Well for the engine and tranny around here in Texas will usually be around 3k but sometimes you find deals. If you want someone to drop it in for you than thats another case on its own..
4. Yes if you run 300hp you need to get a stronger clutch the OEM one wont last long.
