i want to make my crx HF fast. i have a B18A1 in it. i am going to turbo soon. it has stock internals so i am only going to run 7-8 puonds of boost. what else can i do to make it fast. i did strip the car out basically. i am have a custom cold air. i don't have a intercooler yet or blowoff valve or boost control who are the good companies to go with. Any help or inpit u have will be appreciated!!!

 

Just turbo it and call it a day.

Don't worry about which company to buy from, intercoolers are intercoolers (they all work, get one that holds 10psi and is rated for 350hp).

Worry more about getting it tuned properly, that's where the real power is found.

 

for all your turbo questions use the Forced induction forum they usually know a little more...but for 7-8 psi on a b18 you can use almost about any company and have no worries. There is always the best stuff, but do you really want to pay top dollar? Use the FI forum and read the faq they have stuff like "DIY manuel Boost controller for liek 5 bucks and it works perfect" goodluck and read that faq and Maximum boost by Corky Bell they both help a lot for boosting. Also why not make it a boosted LS , just make sure to have it properly tuned because that is where your money is worth the most
