Default Z10 Radius traction arms

does anyone have these? im considering buying them for my 92 hatch, but i dont feel like forking up $350 if its not going to get rid of my wheel hop. I kno that EF/DA's come stock with a radius arm style suspension on the front, and i've seen several of these cars launch, and they get little wheel hop if any.... so i'm wondering if this would be the same on an EG/EK w/ the Z10 bars? BTW im running 205/50/15 Falken Azenis w/ neuspeed race springs, launching on the street around 3000-3500 is about the best but i still get hop...TIA

Ive heard that they all but eliminate wheelhop, but does anyone know if its true that if you're boosted if it will hit your boost pipes?

The only thing I can think of getting in the way would probably be the downpipe. All your intercooler piping should be inside the front bumper.

And YES!...it does eliminate wheelhop. I'd rather shell out $300 now, then buy a few axles down the line. Plus, it just makes your car feel more stable when driving.

i have them on my ek and it did eliminate pretty much all wheel hop, they will not harm anything on your car if its a daily. (same suspension travel, and turning radius) I dunno if it will interfer with turbo piping but here is an article on the istall, with pics of the under side of the car with the z10 arms on. http://www.overboost.com/story.asp?id=460

i deffinatly noticed an improvement with them. if you pair them up with some motor mount inserst the launches feel great. i just got to launch mine on slicks the other day and it was amazing.

Its probable they can't be used. I am sure they haven't tested that out themselves, they would rely on someone else's experience.
I would guess they don't, but I've never seen a civic with an H22...

as far as them working with a h22 it depends how much farther towards the driver side the oil pan sits because there is only like an inch and a half of room between the pan and the rod. as far as the competion engeneering ones go you have to look at were the actual radius rods mount on the front bracket if the rods go straight back it makes them alot harder for daily drivers for what i have heard. i have driven mine for months every day with no problems.

I have them on my 1992 Honda Civic CX with GSR motor B18C1

Couple of points:
1. They really help wheel hop
2. The front suspension is much firmer with them
3. In combination with poly bushings, hitting bumps really HURTS (because ride is so firm)
4. Helped induce a tad oversteer to my car (I like it actually)
5. Z10 phone support stinks - it took nearly three weeks to get the arms, and when they got here, the 19mm bolts to hook up the front links were nowhere to be found - I had to go buy them unless I wanted to wait three weeks.
6. With forward preload (what Z10 recommends) when you fully unload the suspension (i.e. - jack it up in the air) there is some suspension "binding" i.e. the wheels "stick" in the fully extended position. Driving a few miles "unstuck" them for me, but this was awfully unsettling (I thought something had broken - loudest "pop" I ever want to hear from my suspension - EVER)
7. Did I say I really like them? Yes, I do.
8. Losing the front splashgaurd SUCKS - I cut mine and made it fit ANYWAY - I don't care if people run without them - this is my everyday driver, and driving in rain and puddles is a fact of life. This wasn't easy - nor is it pretty.

ya, i'd also like to know about h22 civics with the z10 radius arms.

as for:

question: what happens to the tow hook?? u have to remove it don't u? what happens if for some reason u need to have ur car towed? do u have to get one of those front tow hooks?
yes you have to remove the factory tow hooks, and will have to either not have 'em, or get after market ones (u know those ugly ones, but hey, they function, right?)

Anyone ever figure out if the radius bars fit with a h22 civic? and which motor mounts they used? Place Racing? HCP?
