sound coming from the driver side tire.....
there a squeak sound coming from the front driver side tire, i could hear it when im getting in or out of the car. i have a feeling the it might be the shocks. has anyone have an idea how much it would cost to get it replaced at the dealership.... or if anyone know if it's something else that might be making the noise....
To identify exactly where the squeak is coming from push down on your fender right above your tire. Be care full not to push too hard and dent your fender. I usually pop the hood and push down on the inner fender. Once you find out where it's coming from specifically then you will know if it's a shock/strut, spring or a bushing.
Maybe time to replace some bushings...ie control arm bushing or sway bar and/or sway bar end link bushings or it could just be a dried out bushing. Try spraying a bit of white lithium grease on your bushings and see if that might help. Temporary solution anyway. Usually if it's a stock bushing and it starts to squeak it should be replaced. but the grease trick works to keep it quiet most of the time.
