coilovers or springs?
I have a chance to buy H&R race springs for a 1995 dx coupe for a cheap price of $120 shipped. BUT, i have heard a lot of talk about coilovers. I will be using this car for daily driver and autocross, what are your recommendations?
I eventually will swap out motors, headers, and exhaust, so I'll be around to ask those questions too when funds allow.
Thanks in advance for all the help I can get

h&r race...got it on my hatch w/ kyb agx....love it... rides smooth...coilover only good if you 1.) auto cross or 2.) NEED height adjustments
ps. DON'T GET CRAPPY COILOVER SLEEVES...EVEN THE SKUNKS 2S...THEY ARE WORTHYLESS SINCE THE SPRING RATES ARE WAY TOO MUCH FOR ANY AFTERMARKET SHOCKS OUT THERE....EVEN FOR THE KONIS...IT WILL BOUNCE!!!AND RIDE HARSHLY...I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY...SKUNKS SPRING RATE IS 450F/350R WHICH IS THE SAME FOR EBAY CHEAP'OS

If you're going to get serious into auto-crossing, then get coilovers. Reason why I say that is because for a DD, you can raise the car a bit and not worry about scraping or bottoming out. But when it comes to auto-crossing, you can stiffen it up and lower it so you can hug corners tighter and keep the car planted more. Ground Control + Koni Yellow's is an AWESOME setup.
But if you're gonna just have a bit of fun and auto-cross a few times, I wouldn't waste money on coilovers.

Daily drivers don't need coilovers. If you track it and go to the same track, it's still not that necessary unless you're really serious about it.
H&R race makes good Ish, $120 for used ones are kinda steep unless they look new'ish or he claims they have low miles on em.

for a DD H&R are great, have used a set myself and loved them, changed shock to koni adjustables. Coilovers carry high spring rates which rattle fillings in your head. Stick with the springs for now unless you are real serious about racing,if so then invest a good set of coil overs
