Default Rebuilding a honda f22

How hard is it to rebuild a f22 single over head cam mottor. i havent yet bought the kit cause im not sure how hard it is to rebuild. there is some knocking going on under the valve cover at about 2700 rpm im not sure what it is. I heard alot of people get rid of these motors for cheap when they are getting or already have an h22 for motor swap... What specialty tools will i need and would i be better off getting rid of the car.

You be better off swapping in a new motor. at least a new head. Sounds like you have a bent rod, valve float or something to do with the rockers. If your not confident in ripping your head apart id have some one who knows what there doing do it.

Yea ive done a few 350's before. Im currently building a 350 for a k1500. the only real diffrence is the FI, if your used to carbs (me) and they dont use push rods. Every thing eles is generally similar.
