Are my corner lights miswired?
I bought a set of AIP clear/amber corner lights to replace my all-white ones that came with the car. For some reason, the lamp in the cornering lens always stays illuminated, instead of just when I have the corresponding turn signal turned on. All of the connectors are the original Stanley parts. Did somebody rewire the lights for each side or do I have a bad circuit/relay somewhere?
Year? Model? I know on my '94, one of the bulbs is supposed to always be lit up, it's the parking light, and another is the flasher for the turn signal.
Sorry, 97 LX. Same light setup as yours. Though I thought the turn signal in the bumper flashed, and the clear light in the corner lens stayed illuminated to light up the corner a little, a-la most gigantic American barges (Buicks, Crown Vics)
