I cleaned out the EGR system on my 97 2.2cl (f22b1) and now my ECU keeps throwing code 12 (IAT sensor). I reset the code twice and it comes on after about 60 miles of driving. I even replaced the IAT with a known good one out of my 95 accord ex (f22b1 also) and it still throughs code 12. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

By the way, the EGR ports were all clogged up real good so I made sure I clean them out real well.

edit: after doing a little searching, could this be the EGR valve and not a problem with my IAT sensor?

 

in 96-on OBD II pcm codes came in, example, p0121 type codes. if you could give me that code it would help

 

EGR lift sensor might be bad;
I agree it is best to get the true code from an OBD2 car.

I feel like a dumbass, I FIXED IT. I forgot to plug in the vacuum line for the EGR valve, lol. Thanks for the help anyway guys.
